• Practice Environment: Operating room coverage required; anesthesia support available 24/7

Job Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Otolaryngology
• Active New York medical license preferred, or ability to obtain licensure
• Ability to manage adult and pediatric ENT patients
• Ability to work in a high-acuity trauma and acute care environment
• Experience providing consults, follow-up care, and procedural support as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide otolaryngology coverage for night or 24-hour shifts based on scheduling needs
• Evaluate and manage adult and pediatric ENT patients in an acute care setting
• Respond to consults and deliver timely follow-up care
• Provide operating room coverage when surgical intervention is needed
• Collaborate with hospital staff, anesthesia teams, and other physicians to support quality patient care
• If evaluating a patient who may require surgery but not necessarily overnight care, transfer care to the practice physician when appropriate
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
