• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,282 - $2,536
• Location: Somerville, MA (02143-1408) — Greater Boston area; excellent restaurants, parks, and public transportation.
• Setting: Adolescent Psychiatric Inpatient Unit / Pediatric Behavioral Health
• Shift: 8-hour days, Monday–Friday (No weekends)
• Shifts per Week: 5
• Hours per Week: 40
• Duration: 13-week contract (with potential for extension)
• Start Date: March 24, 2026
• On-site Position: In-person clinical social work role (hospital inpatient)

Qualifications & Requirements

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW)
• Active Massachusetts social work license (LCSW, LICSW, or LMHC)
• Minimum 2 years of acute care social work experience (adolescent/psychiatric experience highly preferred)
• AHA BLS certification
• EMR experience preferred (EPIC a plus)
• Two recent manager/supervisor references matching specialty and a completed skills checklist
• Valid driver's license with address matching demographics
• Ability to work every other major holiday; flu vaccine required during season

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct psychosocial assessments, crisis intervention, and individualized discharge planning for adolescent patients (ages 3–17)
• Develop and implement individualized care plans; provide family education, support, and advocacy
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, therapists, and case managers as part of a multidisciplinary behavioral health team
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR system (EPIC preferred)
• Participate in orientation, ongoing training, and quality improvement initiatives
• Demonstrate charge capability and adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
