Physician Assistant Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience required; prior Emergency Department experience strongly preferred
• Active Physician Assistant license and advanced practice credentials
• Ability to work overnight night shifts in a fast-paced emergency medicine environment
• BLS certification required
• Board certified or board certification eligible preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and comfort managing low to moderate acuity cases
• Local candidates only

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency medicine and urgent care services to patients with low to moderate acuity needs
• Perform patient assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop appropriate treatment plans
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow and excellent care delivery
• Respond to urgent patient needs during overnight coverage
• Document patient encounters accurately and maintain strong clinical standards
• Adapt quickly to the clinical workflow and support a team-oriented care environment
