Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Recent Med/Surg Tele, telemetry nursing, or acute care hospital experience strongly preferred
• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of New Jersey or compact eligibility, if applicable
• Ability to monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient condition
• Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical decision-making skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a dynamic medical-surgical and telemetry setting

Med/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult patients in a Med/Surg Tele unit
• Monitor cardiac telemetry and report significant changes in patient status
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support safe, effective patient outcomes
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately and promptly in the medical record
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions
• Maintain a safe, patient-centered environment while upholding professional nursing standards
