• Patient Volume: Approximately 10,000-12,000 emergency visits annually
• Bed Size: 10-bed emergency department
• Support Staff: APP support available

Job Requirements

• Board certification in Emergency Medicine required
• Active West Virginia medical license required; IMLC or WV temporary license may be considered
• DEA registration required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required
• At least 1 year of emergency medicine experience required
• Ability to provide emergency care for patients across all age groups
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 60 days

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency care for patients with a wide range of acute conditions
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients in a fast-paced emergency department setting
• Work collaboratively with APP support and the broader clinical care team
• Document patient encounters accurately in Cerner EMR
• Deliver care for both day and night coverage as scheduled
• Support efficient patient flow while maintaining excellent clinical standards
• Manage emergency medicine cases for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
