ICU Registered Nurse Contract Job – Pennington, NJ | Float Pool & Intermediate Care

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2020-$2130
• Contract Length: 8 weeks

• Schedule: 3 shifts per week
• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Hours: 36 hours per week

Job Requirements

• 2+ years of current ICU nursing and Medical Surgical Telemetry (MST) experience required
• Active New Jersey RN license or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on unit needs
• Must be comfortable floating to applicable inpatient units as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to critically ill and high-acuity patients in ICU and intermediate care settings
• Deliver patient-centered care across float pool and acute care units as assigned
• Monitor, assess, and document patient status accurately and in a timely manner
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support optimal patient outcomes
• Administer medications, treatments, and clinical interventions in accordance with hospital standards
• Respond effectively to changes in patient condition in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Maintain compliance with unit protocols, documentation standards, and patient safety practices
• Support staffing needs with flexibility across assigned units and schedules
