Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of inpatient CDI experience required
• RN strongly preferred; physicians and foreign medical graduates may also be considered
• Experience reviewing inpatient documentation for accuracy, completeness, and specificity
• Familiarity with Epic and CDI workflow technology preferred
• Experience with 3M Solventum 360, encoder tools, and related CDI platforms preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with clinical, provider, and revenue cycle teams
• Ability to meet productivity expectations in a fast-paced inpatient healthcare environment

Responsibilities

• Perform inpatient clinical documentation reviews to support accurate and complete medical records
• Identify documentation opportunities and communicate with providers to improve specificity and clarity
• Utilize Epic and CDI technology tools to support daily workflow and case review
• Review evidence sheets and alerts to prioritize documentation improvement opportunities
• Maintain productivity standards, with expected review volumes of approximately 15-20 cases per day as guidelines are finalized
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support compliant documentation practices
• Assist in reporting and documentation review processes as needed
• Support overall clinical documentation integrity initiatives within the inpatient setting
