• Employment Type: Travel Contract (Temp-to-Perm option available)
• Contract Duration: 26 weeks (shorter assignments may be considered)
• Start Date: February 23, 2026
• Hours per Week: 40 (Monday–Friday clinical research shifts)
• Shifts per Week: 5
• Shift Duration: 8 hours per day; flexible starts as early as 7:00 AM based on patient scheduling
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2200 - $2560
• Parking: Discounted parking available ($15/day)

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Baccalaureate Degree (BSN) required
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (MA RN license)
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS/BLS) certification
• 3–5 years of research or clinical research experience required (Clinical Research Nurse, Research RN preferred)
• Experience with interventional, full-cycle clinical trials preferred — oncology clinical trials, amyloidosis, hematology, or sickle cell experience a plus
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, REDCap, and electronic data capture (EDC) systems
• Strong organizational, communication, patient education, and consent documentation skills
• Cultural sensitivity and ability to work with diverse patient populations; bilingual or multi-lingual skills are a plus

Responsibilities

• Identify, screen, and recruit eligible patients for open clinical research trials (research nurse responsibilities)
• Meet with potential research subjects to review informed consent and explain trial requirements and risks
• Coordinate, schedule, and monitor patient study visits, ensuring compliance with protocol and regulatory requirements
• Collect and enter study data into REDCap/EDC systems and maintain accurate source documentation
• Collaborate closely with clinical research coordinators, principal investigators, physicians, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Assist with protocol review, study start-up activities, quality assurance, and monitoring visits
• Provide patient and family education about clinical trial participation, treatments, and expected outcomes
• Communicate findings and report adverse events to investigators and study leadership in a timely manner
• Maintain evidence-based nursing practice, adhere to GCP and institutional regulatory standards, and support research integrity
• Engage in professional development, committee participation, and continuing education to advance clinical research nursing practice
