Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,090-$2,200
• Location: Cape May Court House, New Jersey
• Setting: Emergency Room / Emergency Department
• Start Date: 7/7/2026
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Flexible shifts including 7a-7p, 11a-11p, and 3p-3a
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Emergency Room RN Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of recent Emergency Room Registered Nurse experience required
• Current and active New Jersey RN license
• EPIC experience required
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Current PALS certification
• ATCN or TNCC required
• Flu vaccination required

Emergency Nursing Responsibilities

• Provide rapid assessment, triage, and emergency nursing care to patients with a wide range of acute and critical conditions
• Monitor patient status, administer medications, and implement physician orders in a high-acuity emergency department setting
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support efficient and effective emergency care delivery
• Accurately document patient care, treatments, and clinical updates using EPIC
• Respond quickly to changing patient conditions and prioritize care based on urgency and patient acuity
• Support patient and family education while maintaining compassionate, professional communication
